The front cover features Knuks. We had already shot a front cover featuring Marshmallow when we "discovered" Knuks while promoting the soon-to-be-released magazine at local pet stores. Knuks (named for her "reverse-skunk" markings as "skunk" spelled backwards) quickly demonstrated how photogenic and modern she was. She has since lost her stripe (she claims one of the other ferrets stole it) except for a few occasional black hairs along her back & tail. She has retained her lovable and affectionate nature, however, and is a favorite at ferret shows and pet expos everywhere.
