PLAYBOY'S MISS NOVEMBER AND HER PET FERRETS POSE FOR MODERN FERRET MAGAZINE CENTERFOLD

The May/June '99 Issue of Modern Ferret features an exclusive interview with Playboy Playmate Tiffany Taylor and her seven pet ferrets

Smithtown, NY - In an industry first, Playboy Playmate Tiffany Taylor (Miss November 1998) and her pet ferrets pose for the centerfold photo of the May/June 1999 issue of the award-winning Modern Ferret magazine. This is the first time a nude centerfold model's pets have also posed nude for a centerfold. Although Tiffany is clothed for the Modern Ferret centerfold, her ferrets are not. Tiffany is also featured on the issue's cover and in an eight-page interview.

"You can't be cuter than a ferret," said Tiffany. "You just can't. No matter who you are. You can have little blonde curls and big blue eyes and just be the cutest thing on the planet - people would still like them better. You just can't compete with ferrets." As to how she feels about her "babies" posing nude, Tiffany said, "Look where they learned it from."

"We're always looking to do something out of the ordinary that people don't expect to see in a pet magazine. Having Tiffany Taylor and her ferrets in the centerfold is just the kind of thing that goes along with Modern Ferret's editorial plan. We've always considered ourselves to be the Rolling Stone of pet magazines," said Eric Shefferman, Modern Ferret's Designer.

"It was fun hanging out and talking with Tiffany and her ferrets," said Mary R. Shefferman, editor of Modern Ferret. "She's a very caring pet owner - she adopted all her ferrets from situations where they were unwanted. She sets a good example. I think ferret owners and animal lovers will identify with Tiffany's love for ferrets."

The May/June issue of Modern Ferret goes on sale April 23 and is featured in a Borders Books and Music chain Cover to Cover promotion to help increase visibility and distribution. Borders has long been a supporter of the often off-beat Modern Ferret and has featured the magazine in both print and television advertising.
